Farmington – Psychiatrist Arthur Dingley, DO, has joined the staff of Evergreen Behavioral Services.

Evergreen Behavioral Services, located in the Mt. Blue Health Center next to Franklin Memorial Hospital, offers a continuum of care in the areas of mental health and substance abuse services.

In his new position, Dingley will be responsible for general psychiatry including psychiatric assessments and evaluations for adults, medication management and psychotherapy crisis evaluations and consultations.

Dingley’s professional interests include general psychiatry with a specialized interest in developmental and chronic mental health issues.

Before coming to Evergreen, Dingley was the regional medical director for the Maine Department of Health and Human Services in Portland. He was also an attending psychiatrist at Spring Harbor Hospital and Maine Medical Center.

Dingley received his medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, and later completed a three-year psychiatric residency at Maine Medical Center in Portland. Prior to that, he studied law at the University of Maine School of Law, earning his juris doctor degree in 1979.
