PORTLAND – Louise A. Cote has been promoted to associate supervisor with the U.S. Postal Service. Cote had been with Postal Service for eight years before completing a four-month supervisory training program, graduating with 18 other management trainees.

A Minot resident, Cote began her postal career at the New Gloucester post office as a clerk. Later, she served as an acting supervisor of customer services in Auburn. She has been training to be a supervisor of customer services.

Cote, who attended the University of Maine, is married and has three grown children and two stepdaughters.

She will supervise Lewiston post office employees who serve the public at customer service windows.
