“The Give ’em the Pickle’ program explores the idea that we’re all in the same business, serving the public, and our job is to make our customers happy,” said Jim Handy, program facilitator.

“Pickles are those extra gestures you make to please your customers and this workshop will help you figure out what your pickles’ are. Essentially, this program helps customer service representatives, store clerks and wait staff sharpen their customer service skills.”

Handy is a former customer service representative and trainer for L.L. Bean. He has more than 15 years of experience in customer service program design, training and as a customer service representative.
