AUBURN – Emily Flynn, as Belle in Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast,” will welcome those attending an Elegant Breakfast she is hosting at 9 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 9, along with her friends from the show, at Hilton Garden Inn Auburn Riverwatch.

The event will be for patrons attending the matinee that afternoon at Great Falls Performing Arts Center, Academy Street. Tickets are $30 a person and include the breakfast, tax and gratuity and the afternoon matinee. Reservations may be made by calling 783-0958 or accessing the Web at laCLT.com.

The show, still on Broadway, will come to life on the L/A Community Little Theatre stage in a production filled with scenery, costumes, choreography and songs. CLT has the premiere showing for community theaters in Maine. Music is by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice and book by Linda Woolverton.

Richard Martin is director, with Ray Libby as musical director; Bob Caldwell, vocal director; Elizabeth Hansen, choreographer; Karen Mayo, producer; and Rachel Morin, publicity. The production will run Oct. 6 to 16, with additional performances scheduled on Thursday evenings and matinees on Saturdays as well as Sundays. All tickets are $15.
