LISBON FALLS – The Lisbon High School Boosters Club hopes to help former residents, Jeff and Beth Harvey, who reside in Biloxi, Miss. The home they just purchased received heavy damage during Hurricane Katrina.

The Harveys were residents of Lisbon Falls until 1999. Beth ran a home daycare on Dumas Street for some time, then returned to dental hygiene. Jeff was employed by Bath Iron Works. Their oldest child, Casey, was at Sugg Middle School and their daughters, Chelsea and Morgan, were attending Marion T. Morse School.

The Lisbon High School Boosters Club will have donation jars during some of their athletic and homecoming weekend events. Everything collected will go directly to the Harvey family to help them rebuild their lives.

The Lisbon High School homecoming events are as follows: Friday, Sept. 30, 4 p.m., girls soccer vs Hall Dale; 4 p.m., field hockey vs Boothbay; 5 to 7 p.m., spaghetti dinner, all welcome; 6 p.m., dunk tank for coaches and pie shooting.

Saturday, Oct. 1, 1:30 p.m., football vs Traip; 3:30 p.m., men’s soccer vs Dirigo.

Proceeds from the homecoming events will go directly to the State Jacket Fund.
