SOUTH PARIS – Goals by Terry Bunce and Kari Pelletier lifted Oxford Hills to a 2-0 triumph over Morse.
Bunce scored an unassisted goal in the first half, and Kari Pelletier redirected a corner kick from Jenny Petriesky off her head for an insurance tally in the second frame as the Vikings extended their undefeated streak to three games (2-0-1).
Sam Rivers turned aside five shots in the Viking goal, the second shutout of the season for Oxford Hills (2-5-2). Jill Henrickson made seven saves for Morse (5-4).
Leavitt 2, Gardiner 1
TURNER – Ashley Naylor led a comeback with a pair of goals in the second half as Leavitt defeated Gardiner 2-1 in KVAC girls’ soccer action on Friday.
The Tigers (1-8) took a 1-0 lead early in the second half. Naylor led the Hornets, scoring on feeds from Steph Healy and Amie Chaisson to clinch the win.
Laura Thornton faced 24 shots in the Gardiner net, finishing with 22 saves. Katherine Rothe stopped four shots for Leavitt (2-7).
NYA 4, St. Dom’s 1
YARMOUTH – Alex Mack scored two goals and had two assists to carry North Yarmouth Academy to a 4-1 victory over St. Dom’s.
Meghan Meintal netted a goal and added an assist for the Panthers, while Allison Carpenter also scored. Goalie Emily Staszak made eight saves in net for NYA.
Autumn Bell scored the lone goal for the Saints (6-3-1) on a feed from Erynne Landry.
Lewiston 6, Cony 0
AUGUSTA – Laura Martel notched four goals to lead Lewiston to a 6-0 victory over winless Cony.
Kelsey Rodrigue chipped in with a goal and an assist, and Mallory Long added a goal on an assist by Kaitlin Pike for the Blue Devils (7-2-1).
Katie Cobb stopped three shots for the shutout in the Lewiston goal. Holly Parker had 13 saves for the Rams (0-9).
Maranacook 3, Camden Hills 1
READFIELD – Katie Watts found the back of the net twice to lead Maranacook to a 3-1 victory over Camden Hills in a girls’ varsity soccer contest on Friday.
Jackie Mrazik scored a goal and had an assist for Maranacook (9-1).
Erika Johnson scored the lone goal for Camden Hills (8-3) on a pass from Carissa Dickey with 1:45 left in the game.
Oak Hill 0, MCI 0
WALES – Oak Hill and MCI played to a double overtime tie in KVAC girls’ soccer action.
Skye Boulett missed an opportunity to score a goal for the Raiders (1-7-1) in the first half when her penalty kick sailed over the net. Oak Hill dominated possession of the ball, but could not capitalize.
Goalie Jenna Lorensten had 11 saves for the Huskies, while Courtney Seguin turned back 16 shots for the Raiders.
Field hockey
Jay 2, Dirigo 1
JAY – Kristen Timberlake nailed the game-winning goal with 47 seconds remaining in regulation to lift Jay to a 2-1 victory over Dirigo.
The Cougars (3-6) scored the first goal of the contest when Michelle Holmquest converted a relay from Holly Knight 10 minutes into the second half.
The Tigers (3-7) knotted up the game 10 minutes later when Kristen Adams fed Julie Nelson for the equalizer. Timberlake secured the victory for Jay on a pass from Liz LeBlanc.
Dani Tompkins made 10 saves for Dirigo, while Brenda Allen turned back three shots for Jay in the win.
St. Doms 6, OOB 0
AUBURN – Elisha Dorso scored two goals and had three assists to lead St. Doms to a 6-0 victory over Old Orchard Beach on Friday.
Mary Lewis also netted a pair of goals, while Chelsea St.Onge and Erika Vander Werf also scored for the Saints (7-2).
St. Dom’s goalkeeper Austyn Carolin needed only one save to earn the shutout.
Lisbon 1, Boothbay 0
LISBON FALLS – Felicia Robishaw scored the game’s only goal on a backhander in the first half to propel Lisbon to a 1-0 victory over Boothbay.
Kelsey LaGlohack had a solid game in the midfield to direct the attack for Lisbon (6-4).
Rachel Beal picked up the shutout with four saves. Brittany Dickinson stopped nine shots for Boothbay (3-7).
Oak Hill 2, Erskine 2
SOUTH CHINA – Audrey Grass and May Nadeau each recorded a goal and an assist for Oak Hill in a 2-2 tie with Erskine.
Grass opened the scoring with 9:44 remaining in the first half on a feed from Nadeau, but a flurry of goals in the second half knotted the score. Diana Derocker scored off a penalty corner for the Eagles to tie the game at 1-1, and then Nadeau regained the lead for the Raiders two minutes later.
Erskine’s Christina Haiss tied the game for good with an unassisted goal.
Oak Hill (1-7-1) had the best chance in overtime, but the hit on the penalty corner didn’t get into scoring position.
Sam Richardson stopped seven shots for the Eagles (1-7-1). Frankie Curtis had 13 saves for the Raiders.
