BETHEL – The federal Economic Development Administration has awarded $800,000 for the Northern Forest Center to study strategies to create jobs and improve the economies of the rural regions in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and New York. The study will be conducted from offices in Bethel, as well as those in New Hampshire and Vermont. A headline of a story on page B2 of Monday’s River Valley edition incorrectly described the recipients of the funds.
