On Sept.7, 8, and 9, Mrs. Sue Reny’s home room at Lewiston Middle School brought fireman boots, that the fire station donated, around the school. We were collecting money for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Between the students and staff, we had collected $449 and then student council added money to make the total collection come out to $1,000. The money then went to the Red Cross.
