FITCHBURG, Mass. – Corey Hetherman passed for 145 yards and two touchdowns as Fitchburg State beat Maine Maritime while playing at its renovated home field for the first time this season.

Hetherman was 17 of 24 with a 15-yard scoring strike to Bob Hirko in the first quarter and a 4-yard scoring pass to Justin Sleeper in the fourth. Brian Milleisen had 151 yards rushing for Fitchburg State (5-1, 3-0 NEFC).

Linebacker Christopher Metcalf led Maine Maritime (4-2, 1-2) with 15 tackles. The Mariners were limited to 108 yards of total offense.
