FARMINGTON – The Franklin County Animal Shelter’s cuddly Domino is an older dog who is looking for a loving home to live out the rest of his years.

He is gentle and loves nothing more than to be close to those he cares about. He is on the chubbier side, so a diet wouldn’t hurt.

Domino is almost pure white except for some spots around his ears, and he has one eye that is half blue and half brown, which staff thinks makes him look dashing.

He would be the perfect addition to a family with older, calmer children or for an older couple looking for a companion to spoil. He does well with other dogs as long as they aren’t hyper and jumpy and is excellent with cats. He prefers a big comfy dog bed to sleep on but is willing to share a bed.

October is Adopt a Shelter Dog Month, so anyone thinking of welcoming a dog into their heart and home is asked to consider adopting from the local shelter.
