LEWISTON – The following cases were closed recently in 8th District Court.

Ernest Martinez, 28, Lewiston, operating a vehicle without a license on June 24, found guilty, fined $100.

Alan Mason Jr., 27, Bethel, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Aug. 17, found guilty, sentenced to two days.

Michael Matson, 34, Old Orchard Beach, operating under the influence and operating while license suspended or revoked on May 28, both charges sent to jury trial.

Adrian Maurais, 20, Poland, burglary of a motor vehicle and two counts of forgery on Jan. 13, all charges sent to jury trial.

Desiree McCabe, 19, Lewiston, aggravated criminal mischief on April 25, transferred to Superior Court.

Karen McCaul, 41, Lewiston, aggravated criminal mischief on April 22, transferred to Superior Court.

Jody McGuire, 25, Lewiston, negotiating a worthless instrument on May 11, found guilty, fined $100 and $714 restitution.

Bryanna McLaughlin, 19, Lewiston, possession of liquor by a minor on June 13, fined $200 by default.

John McLean, 54, Lewiston, disorderly conduct on May 28, sent to jury trial.

Jeremy Mecervier, 28, Greene, operating under the influence and attaching false plates on May 6, found guilty on both charges, fined $500, sentenced to four days and license suspended 90 days on first charge; fined $75 on second charge.

Mark Melanson, 21, Livermore Falls, failing to stop for an officer on July 12, found guilty, fined $150.

Ryan Melanson, 30, Lewiston, disorderly conduct on May 27, sent to jury trial.

Humberto Menendez, 60, Tampa, Fla., operating under the influence on June 9, sent to jury trial.

Kevin Menezes, 50, North Billerica, Mass., operating without a lake or river protection sticker on July 24, offense committed, fined $100.

Felix Merced, 35, Lewiston, theft by unauthorized use of property on July 18, dismissed.

Amanda Mercier, 18, Lewiston, possession of marijuana on Aug. 6, offense committed, fined $350.

Scott Mercier, 38, Wayne, being a habitual motor vehicle offender, found guilty, fined $500; operating under the influence, found guilty, fined $600 and sentenced to four days and license suspended 90 days; attaching false plates, dismissed; refusing to sign a criminal summons, dismissed; violating condition of release, found guilty, sentenced to two days; and theft by unauthorized use of property, found guilty, sentenced to four days. All charges occurred on Aug. 26.

Sheila Mercier, 39, Norway, assault on June 23, sent to jury trial.

Jesse Merrill, 20, Dixfield, disorderly conduct and violating condition of release on Aug. 17, found guilty on first and second charges, sentenced to five days for each charge.

Joshua Merrill, 23, Lewiston, carrying concealed weapon on May 25, found guilty, sentenced to 24 hours.

Joshua Mershimer, 23, South Paris, theft by receiving stolen property on June 13, found guilty, fined $100.

Charles Michaud, 36, Lewiston, disorderly conduct on June 29, found guilty, fined $75.

Shawn Michaud, 31, Lewiston, operating while license suspended or revoked on May 5, found guilty, fined $250.

Stephen Miller, 43, Auburn, disorderly conduct on May 30, sent to jury trial.

Stephen Mitchell, 63, Lisbon Falls, operating under the influence with one prior and operating while license suspended or revoked on May 23, found guilty on first charge, fined $700, sentenced to 12 days and license suspended 18 months; second charge dismissed.

Jamie Mocker, 36, Bowdoin, operating under the influence on May 28, sent to jury trial.

Jamie Mockler, 36, Lewiston, operating under the influence and violating condition of release on Aug. 8, both charges sent to jury trial.

George Monette, 48, Lisbon Falls, harassment on July 16, found guilty, sentenced to four days.

Kyle Moody, 21, Livermore Falls, criminal speed on Sept. 15, 2004, found guilty, fined $300.

Hector Morales, 26, Auburn, violating a protective order on July 31, found guilty, sentenced to four days.

Andrew Morin, 21, Livermore Falls, possession of marijuana on July 3, fined $350 by default.

Brandon Morin, 18, Lewiston, possession of liquor by a minor on May 21, offense committed, fined $200.

Jaime Morin, 18, Buckfield, criminal threatening on Aug., 2, dismissed.

James Morin, 30, Lewiston, operating under the influence on May 21, found guilty, fined $500 and license suspended 90 days.

David Morrill, 21, Lisbon, sale and use of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana on May 11, offense committed on both charges, fined $100 for first charge; fined $100 for second charge.

Freddie Morris, 45, Lewiston, unlawful possession of a scheduled drug on July 31, found guilty, fined $400 and sentenced to two days.

Archie Morrissette, 47, Lisbon Falls, disorderly conduct on July 12, found guilty, fined $100.

Carol Mowatt, 44, South Paris, assault on June 18, filed with no cost.

Jamie Mower, 34, Lewiston, attaching false plates on May 31, found guilty, fined $100.

Jose Moya, 31, Lewiston, aggravated forgery on June 11, 2003 and Oct. 18, 2004, both charges transferred to Superior Court.
