DIXFIELD – Dixfield Economic Development Council members have identified issues they would like to pursue.

They are asking Dixfield residents for their input in the following: suggestions for new projects; a survey for reference by the council and the River Valley Growth Council; and a search for new members.

Because the council does not have a current project, members are seeking ideas from residents of something that they see as a local need that would enhance Dixfield in appearance or function.

Also sought is input for an informal survey on what kind of business or businesses residents would like to have in Dixfield and what they would support.

New members are always welcome. Residents who would like to respond to about a project, a business or suggestion or to volunteer to attend a meeting or become a member should call Norine Clarke at 562-8816 daytimes or call or drop in at the town office.

The next scheduled meeting of the council is 8 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 10.
