ARUNDEL – The wedding of Laura Davis and Ty Benjamin Drown was held at 2 p.m. on Sept. 17 at the Drown residence in Arundel. The Rev. Kenneth Holt, family friend, officiated at the ceremony. The wedding party arrived at the wedding on the “Laura” trolley rented for the day from Biddeford Shuttle Bus.

Mrs. Drown is the daughter of Harvey and Carolyn Davis of Lisbon Falls. Mr. Drown is the son of the late James Drown and Pamela Drown.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory strapless satin gown with Schiffli lace and beading, with an Empire waistline, slim A-line skirt and chapel train. She wore two red Gerber daisies in her hair.

Amy Morin of Lewiston, college roommate, was maid of honor and bridesmaids were Katie-Lynn Marquis, Kristine Plyavinya, Jessica Reed, Stephanie Rule, Brooke Theberge and Kimberly Turgeon, friends.

Casey Drown of Arundel, brother of the bridegroom, performed the duties of best man and ushers were Jamie Adams, Travis Clark, Kenneth Goodwin, Dannel Perkins, Joseph Pomber and Jonathan Valencia, friends.

A reception followed under a tent at the Drown residence. The couple traveled to Hawaii for a honeymoon.

The bride, formerly of Lisbon Falls, is a 1995 graduate of Lisbon High School and a 1999 graduate of St. Joseph’s College with a bachelor’s degree in business. She is employed at Bill Dodge Auto Group in Westbrook.

The bridegroom is a 1993 graduate of Kennebunk High School and is employed at Custom Electronics in Falmouth.
