Clog dancing

MEXICO – Clog dancing classes will be taught by Michele Varuolo from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. for 10 Wednesdays beginning Nov. 2 at the Peru School.

Young dancers, starting at age 10, must be accompanied by an adult. Tuition is $20. Call 364-2012 to register.

Stamp party

RUMFORD – The Greater Rumford Community Center and Moontide Water Festival announce a Christmas Stamping Party from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, at the Senior Center, Congress Street.

For $15, individuals will be able to make eight to 10 Christmas/holiday/winter cards with envelopes and a recipe card. Participants are asked to bring a dish to share with a recipe included. Scrappers Domaine will have a demonstration table at the event.

After school

DIXFIELD – An after-school club is coming to the Dixfield Elementary School. Good News valuable lessons about good living from the Bible. There is no charge. Parents are welcome, too.

The clubs are not sponsored by SAD 21, but by Child Evangelism Fellowship. The Good News Club at the Dixfield school will be in the multi-purpose room. To register a child between the ages of 5 and 12, have him/her get an invitation from the school office and bring it, filled out, to the club. Children in the school will need a note from home to give to the school office giving permission to stay.

The club will meet from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Mondays, starting Oct. 31, with a harvest party. For details, call Virginia Mathieu at 897-6800.

Memorial Mass

RUMFORD – A memorial Mass for deceased veterans will be held at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, at St. Athanasius St. John’s Church.
