LEWISTON – The following cases were closed recently in 8th district court.

David Strout, 20, Lewiston, obstructing public ways on May 17, found guilty, fined $100.

Scott Strout, 20, Lewiston, assault on June 21, no sentence imposed.

Julia Sviridova, 20, Hartford, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Aug. 10, found guilty, fined $100 with all but $50 suspended.

Nina Sysko, 19, Lewiston, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Aug. 6, found guilty, fined $100.

Robert Tardiff, 30, Lewiston, operating a vehicle without license on June 27, found guilty, fined $100.

Lauren Taylor, 20, Lewiston, violating condition of release on Aug. 8, found guilty, sentenced to 24 hours.

Richard Taylor, 48, Auburn, criminal speed, dismissed.

Jeffrey Ternig, 26, Whitefield, operating under the influence and failing to notify of motor vehicle accident on June 26, found guilty on both charges, fined $500, sentenced to 96 hours and license suspended 90 days on first charge; fined $75 on second charge.

Lopez Lee Stanley Thomas, 39, Lewiston, assault on July 7, dismissed.

Joseph Thompson, 20, Greene, two counts of burglary of a motor vehicle on July 4, transferred to Superior Court.
