WEST PARIS – The West Paris Community Christmas Committee is looking for all West Paris businesses, churches, groups and organizations to participate in the West Paris Community Christmas.
The event, which will begin at the Agnes Gray School Gym from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, will include a community showcase, a parade and Christmas tree lighting.
The showcase will include baked goods, crafts, gift certificates and freebies. The short parade will end at the Christmas tree, which is in park in back of the West Paris General Store. Those attending will say a prayer and light the Christmas tree.
The tables in the gym are limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Those wishing may also bring their own table. Set-up time will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The doors will open at 1. The tables are free, but people must clean up and sweep up at the end of the event.
