AUBURN – The board of directors and staff of Good Shepherd Food-Bank invite the public to “The Gathering – A Harvest Celebration,” an evening of food, fun and opportunity, from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9.
Those attending the open house will meet team members and partner agencies and have a tour of the Auburn facility, 3121 Hotel Road. Refreshments will be served. For more information, contact JoAn Chartier at 782-3554 or jchartier@gsfb.org.
Good Shepherd Food-Bank is one of Maine’s largest social service organizations, providing food to more than 500 nonprofit agencies statewide. In the past year, 8.8 million pounds of food was distributed, feeding 70,000 Maine people each month.
