Sunday service

NORWAY – The Sunday service for Nov. 13 at the First Universalist Church, Norway, Unitarian Universalist, 479 Main St. will be at 11 a.m. Childcare will be provided as well as a religious education program for children.

Choir practice will be at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, with Heather Pierson, music director. The service will be led by Doug Leathem with reflections on “The Great Healing Power of Love.” Leathem is a member of the First Universalist Church, West Paris.

AARP meeting

PARIS – The Oxford Hills Chapter of AARP will meet Monday, Nov. 14, in the Haskell House, across the driveway from the First Congregational Church, East Main St., South Paris. There will be no lunch, and the meeting will start at 1 p.m. Donations will be taken for a child’s Christmas. Speaker will be Bernie Dunn talking about eBay.

Club meeting

NORWAY – The Heywood Club of Norway will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, at the clubhouse. The speaker will be Ann Seikman from the Norway library. She will speak on the Dragon Rider Bookmobile.
