Recently Mr. Tucker’s homeroom class had its annual student council election. This year our candidates were Jordan Chase and Nate Berill. Also there was an alternative, his name is Collin Dudly. Since there were only two candidates both became the student council representative for Mr. Tucker’s homeroom. Collin will be filling in when one of the representatives is unable to attend a meeting.
By now you’re probably wondering about what the representatives are planning to do. I spoke with the candidates and asked them. One of their many ideas is to make sure we have plenty of fun dances. Then I went straight to the students and asked them what they wanted and the seventh graders said that they deeply wanted the privilege of recess back. Who knows what to expect from these young men? Only time will tell.
