The St. Dominic RHS Drama Society is proud to present this classic English “who-done-it” by the great mistress of murder, Agatha Christie. “The Mousetrap” is the longest running stage show in history, and has graced the London stage continuously for over 50 years. The cast, with the help of the imagination and mystery provided by Agatha Christie, will take you through a mental maze of twists and turns and leave you wondering “who done it?”

This is a story of a young couple, Molly and Giles Ralston (Katie St.Pierre of Lewiston and Michael DeFiore of Mexico), who have just opened a guesthouse, Monkswell Manor, and are expecting their first assortment of guests. The guests arrive one by one, and some of them have a connection to a murder that just took place in London. The very next day a young police Sergeant Trotter arrives on skis. He introduces himself to see the Ralstons and the guests as Sergeant Trotter (Matthew Defiore of Mexico,) and claims that he is investigating the London murder case, and that there is reason to believe another murder will take place at Monkswell Manor. The guests deny any connection to the murder case, yet another murder is committed that very afternoon. Was it the eccentric young Mr. Wren (P.J. Koroski of Lisbon Falls) in the drawing room? The gruff Miss Casewell (Whitney Danse of Lisbon) in the parlor? The obviously disguised Mr. Paravicini (Andrew Snowman of Peru) in the library? Or the stolid Major Metcalf (Joseph Vining of Poland) in the basement? And what happened to Mrs. Boyle (Stephanie Matthews of Poland)? Will Sgt. Trotter discover the murderer? You can’t solve the case if you are not at the scene of the crime!

The show will take place at St. Dominic RHS on Fri., Nov. 18, and Sat., Nov. 19, at 7 p.m. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students and seniors.
