LEWISTON – The following cases were closed recently in 8th District Court.

Benjamin Mooreside, 24, Mount Vernon, attaching false plates on July 23, found guilty, fined $75.

Evan Moran, 30, Lewiston, two counts of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on June 22, found guilty on both charges, sentenced to four days for each charge.

Michael Morgan, 45, Lewiston, operating while license suspended or revoked on Feb. 5, found guilty, fined $250.

Brian Allen Morin, 22, Lewiston, probation violations on an indecent conduct and two counts of assault charges on Aug. 29, 2004, sentenced to five months and probation partially revoked on first charge; and sentenced to 364 days with all but 38 days suspended for each on second and third charges.

Jason Morrison, 22, Auburn, operating an ATV on a public way on July 14, found guilty, fined $100.

Steven Mortimer, 39, Poland, violating a protective order on June 11, found guilty, fined $100.

Crystal Mosher, 18, Lewiston, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Aug. 10, sent to jury trial.

Neil Mullen, 32, Lisbon, cultivating marijuana on Jan. 18, found guilty, fined $500.

Alexis Lee Murray, 28, Lewiston, disorderly conduct on April 29, found not guilty.

Timothy Murray, 20, Gardiner, possession of marijuana on July 30, offense committed, fined $300.

Paul Myrand, 41, Lewiston, disorderly conduct on July 8, found guilty, sentenced to four hours.

Rontrell Jarmareal Nelson, 20, Auburn, kidnapping, robbery and violating condition of release on Aug. 26, and violating condition of release on Aug. 23 and 24, all charges transferred to Superior Court.

Mary Newcomb, 52, Livermore Falls, charged with assault on Sept. 9, found guilty, sentenced to 90 days with all suspended and one year probation.

Texlee Newton, 48, Bath, failing to register or update information on Aug. 24, found guilty, fined $200.

Ebony Nicolas, 22, Auburn, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Jan. 11, dismissed.

Brent Niskanen, 24, Mechanic Falls, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and criminal threatening on July 21, found guilty on all charges, fined $100 on first charge; fined $75 on second charge; and fined $100 on third charge; also charged with violating condition of release on Aug. 15 and Aug. 21, found guilty on first charge, sentenced to four days; second charge dismissed.

Melanie Niskanen, 18, Mechanic Falls, disorderly conduct on July 18, found guilty, fined $75.

Douglas Nolin, 62, Minot, operating under the influence with one prior, and operating while license suspended or revoked on May 16, found guilty on both charges, fined $700, sentenced to 120 days with all but 12 days suspended, one year probation and license and registration suspended 18 months on first charge; fined $250 on second charge.

James Norton, 27, Lewiston, disorderly conduct on July 10, found guilty, fined $75.

Brandon Ogilvie, 26, Auburn, assault on April 20, dismissed.

Michael Olcott, 23, Poland, operating after habitual offender revocation on May 5, transferred to Superior Court.

Raege Omar, 27, Lewiston, operating a vehicle without a license on June 29, found guilty, fined $100.

Bertrand Ouellette, 54, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Aug. 11, found guilty, fined $75.

Lisa Ouellette, 35, Lewiston, carrying a concealed weapon and operating while license suspended or revoked on June 29, sent to jury trial.

Megan Ouellette, 19, Lewiston, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Nov. 24, 2004, found guilty, fined $100.

Rodney Owen, 50, Bowdoin, negotiating a worthless instrument on May 18, found guilty, fined $100 and $353.36 restitution.

Noel Pagan Jr., 21, Lewiston, disorderly conduct and violating condition of release on July 4, both charges dismissed.

Derek Palange, 29, Sabattus, violating condition of release on Sept. 10, found guilty, sentenced to 48 hours.

David Paquette, 32, Canton, probation violation on a Jan. 11 assault charge, sentenced to 300 days and probation partially revoked.

Michael Paradis, 49, Lewiston, furnishing liquor to a minor on May 21, dismissed.

James Parker, 39, Greene, failing to produce a permit on Aug. 20, found guilty, fined $50.

Clarence Patten, 29, Livermore Falls, criminal mischief on June 8, 2004, found guilty, $100 restitution.

Aaron Patton, 32, Livermore Falls, unlawful sexual touching and assault on July 6, both charges sent to jury trial.

Aaron Pelletier, 36, Auburn, assault on Sept. 1, found guilty, fined $300 and sentenced to 48 hours.

Danny Pelletier, 39, Auburn, attaching false plates on Aug. 25, found guilty, fined $100.

Kyle Pelletier, 18, Mechanic Falls, possession of marijuana and sale and use of drug paraphernalia on July 17, offense committed on both charges, fined $350 on first charge, fined $300 on second charge.
