LEWISTON – Veterans Day ceremonies are set for 10 this morning at the Lewiston Armory. The 90-minute program will feature a musical tribute offered by two high school bands, a high school chorus and the Just Us entertainers.

In addition, comments are expected from state Sen. Peggy Rotundo, D-Lewiston, and the mayors of Lewiston and Auburn. Color guards representing the various branches of the military will pass in review. The program is open to the public.

What’s open: Most stores, restaurants and businesses.

What’s closed: Local, state and federal government offices, including city and town halls, courts and post offices; schools; banks and credit unions.
