LONDONDERRY, N.H. (AP) – Police say they expect charges will be filed after two youth football coaches from Exeter got in a fight during a game this week.
Londonderry police Captain Bill Hart said witnesses reported the fight started after William Goetschius became upset when the other coach, Richard Sousa, removed Goetschius’ son from the game and replaced him with his own son.
Goetschius said Sousa humiliated his son, so he confronted him on the sideline and grabbed his jacket. He said Sousa then punched him.
Both men have been suspended from coaching.
There has been no comment from Sousa.
