AUBURN – Steven Dostie, shelter director, has announced the winners of the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society’s Octoberfest Raffle.
With more than $4,000 in tickets sales, the winners were Robin Sullivan of Poland, two full-session massages at Another New Day Therapeutic Massage; Don Favreau of Falmouth, signed and framed original David A. Footer print; Blaine Clark of Augusta, cat tree handcrafted by R6meows; Kathleen Campbell of Greene, Lost Wax handmade sterling silver horse pendant; Linda and George Szadis of Durham, holiday lap quilt; and Priscilla Hemond of Minot, a child’s rocking chair with animated Snoopy.
Proceeds from the raffle directly benefit the Humane Society, located at 3312 Hotel Road. Anyone interested in learning more about volunteering at the shelter or adopting an animal should call 783-2311 or visit the Web at www.gahumane.org.
