LEWISTON – Winter session courses will be offered again this year at USM’s Lewiston-Auburn College. The session is a three-week term between the fall and spring semesters, from Dec. 27 to Jan. 12. No classes will be held Jan. 2, and snow dates are Jan. 13 and 14.
Three sessions to be offered are one-credit computer courses designed for students who wish to improve their knowledge and proficiency in a particular area.
LAC 112 Microsoft Excel will meet from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays; LAC 114 Microsoft Power Point from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays; and LAC 113 Web Design: Dreamweaver from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Descriptions for the courses as well as the listing of winter session courses offered on the Portland campus may be found on-line at www.usm.maine.edu/wintersession. Registration for the winter session at USM/L-A is open and will continue through the start of classes.
Those not currently students at USM/L-A are welcome to register. Call the Business Office at 753-6530 for registration assistance.
