CLEVELAND – Reuben Droughns, showing all his moves, scored on a 75-yard run on Cleveland’s first play and finished with 166 yards as the Browns roughed up the Miami Dolphins 22-0.

SAN DIEGO – Drew Brees threw for 339 yards and a season-high four touchdowns, including one to Antonio Gates, as the Chargers routed the Buffalo Bills 48-10.

DENVER – Jake Plummer threw for 225 yards, Mike Anderson ran for three scores and the Broncos handled the struggling Jets 27-0

Jaguars 31, Titans 28

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Byron Leftwich threw for a career-high three touchdowns and ran for a fourth as the Jaguars beat the Tennessee Titans 31-28 .

Chiefs 45, Texans 17

HOUSTON – Larry Johnson broke the Chiefs’ rushing record with 211 yards and scored two touchdowns to lead Kansas City to a 45-17 win over the hapless Houston Texans.
