SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (AP) – Curtis Glencross snapped a tie late in the game to lift the Portland Pirates to a 5-4 victory over the Springfield Falcons on Sunday.

After Gerald Coleman stopped a shot from the point with 3:15 to play, Glencross scored on the rebound for his second goal of the game.

Portland (15-5-1-0) led 4-2 before Jason Jaspers and David Spina scored 1:24 apart to tie the score at 4-4 in the third period.

Jaspers had two goals for the Falcons (10-8-1-2).

Nathan Marsters made 30 saves for Portland. Coleman stopped 22 shots.
