Holly Kathleen Andrew, a first-year student from Greene, has been named a Marshall Scholar at Franklin and Marshall College.
The John Marshall Scholar Program recognizes highly motivated students who have demonstrated a passion for learning, an intense interest in probing specific areas of study, and superior academic achievement.
Marshall Scholars are chosen from Franklin and Marshall’s freshman applicants each year and competition for this award is highly selective.
Andrew, a 2005 graduate of Leavitt Area High School is the daughter of Maureen and Frederick Andrew, Greene.
Jonathan Bennett of Turner, a Santa Clara University student has been named to the Fall 2005 Dean’s List at SCU. To qualify for the Dean’s List at Santa Clara University, students must be in the top 10 percent of their class that year.
