My son lost everything in the Katrina disaster. He survived two weeks of the most horrible of conditions. He’s been recuperating at home since then. Thanks to the generosity of the people of Harrison and a few others, and FEMA, he is probably a lot better off than a lot of other Katrina victims. He doesn’t need money as badly as many victims, and is ready to relocate this month.

I’m wondering how all the billions of dollars collected from fundraisers all over the country and private donations, will be divided up, who gets it and who is responsible for doing the dividing?

I imagine I’m not the only one interested in the answer to these questions.
