FARMINGTON – The wedding of Erica York Bowen and Mark Louis Ingrisano was held at 4 p.m. on Aug. 20 at the Old South Congregational Church. The Rev. Joyce Ingrisano, mother of the bridegroom, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Ingrisano is the daughter of Rick Bowen of Westbrook and the late Jill Bowen. Mr. Ingrisano is the son of Louis and Joyce Ingrisano of Mt. Desert.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor-length white strapless gown in A-line style and a sweeping two-tier veil supported by a tiara. She carried a bouquet of white stock and cloth petals.

A cousin, Lindsay Gray, was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Tonya Ingrisano, sister of the bridegroom, and Keri Gelvin and Beth Cosgrove, friends of the bride. A niece of the bridegroom, Athena Ingrisano, was flower girl.

Matthew Ingrisano performed the duties of best man for his brother, and ushers were Christopher Bowen, brother of the bride, and Joe Sawyer and Garric Worcester, friends of the bridegroom. Maddox Ingrisano, nephew of the bridegroom, was ring bearer.

An outdoor reception followed at Clearwater Lake.

The bride is a graduate of Waterville High School and is attending the University of Maine at Farmington. She is employed at Mt. Desert.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Mt. Desert High School and the University of Maine at Farmington, with a degree in English. He is employed at Mt. Desert.
