On Thanksgiving Day the cafeteria at Lisbon High School was the gathering spot for many in our community to give thanks. Lisbon Rotary hosted over 100 guests to a Thanksgiving feast. Additionally over 50 meals were delivered to those who were unable to be at the school. Lisbon High School’s Interact Club was a tremendous asset to the success of the event. Under the leadership of Advisor, Lisa Brown, and Assistant Advisor, Jay Lavasseur, members arrived at 6:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving morning to begin arranging tables, assisting with food preparation, serving and delivery of meals. The true meaning of giving “thanks” was experienced by all Interact members from the many guests in attendance.
