Can you say Auburn, MASS., Portland, Mass. or how about Fort Kent, Mass?

The people from Massachusetts will be the only ones able to afford property here in “Vacation Land.”

Not only are the people we voted for selling our wilderness to outsiders, they are also forcing the real Mainers to give up their homes. Next time their vote is needed, Mainers should check these people out.

We’re one of the highest-taxed states. We brought in all kinds of lottery games to help take care of our state and to lower our taxes, and yet we have nothing to show for all we give to this state.

But you just read it in the Sun Journal when the taxes went up in Auburn, a couple from New York said they didn’t think the taxes were that bad and that they could afford it. That’s after a lady said she would lose her home because of the taxes.

Maine people need to wake up now, before they wake up in a suburb of Boston.
