HEBRON – The Hebron Community Baptist Church will hold its 215th annual meeting after the 10 a.m. worship service on Sunday, Jan. 8. Seniors speakers

LEWISTON – The Lewiston Senior Citizens will meet at 1:15 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9, in the Multi-Purpose Center gym. All members and guests are welcome.

People do not need to be a resident of Lewiston to be a member. Anyone age 50 and over is eligible.

Barbara Taylor will speak about “Legal Services for the Elderly,” Margaret Craven will give details of a fund-raiser supper to help with heating and board members elected in December were installed.

Lodge supper

AUBURN – The annual meeting of Ancient Brothers Lodge 178, AF and AM, will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9, at the Masonic Hall, 1021 Turner St. A supper will be served at 6:30 p.m. Members are encouraged to attend.

Breastfeeding

AUBURN – Expectant women and breastfeeding mothers are invited to the La Leche League meeting at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11, at 102 Bennett Ave. Babies are welcome. Discussion will focus on “The Advantages of Breastfeeding for Mother and Baby.” All concerns about breastfeeding are welcome for discussion. Insurance speaker

LEWISTON – The National Association of Insurance Women-Androscoggin Valley will meet Wednesday, Jan. 11, at Marco’s Restaurant.

The meeting will begin with a social hour at 5 p.m. followed by dinner at 5:45. The speaker with be Cam Martin, Falmouth fire chief, who will speak on how insurance companies and fire departments can work together to reduce losses.

The National Association of Insurance Women (International) is an association of insurance professionals dedicated to the development of leaders in the insurance industry.
