A story and photographic caption on A1 of the Jan. 11 edition confused two Muslim holidays. Muslims are currently celebrating Eid ul-Adha, marking the end of the annual pilgrimage to Mecca. The other major Muslim holiday is Eid ul-Fitr, which occurs about two months before the current holiday. Eid ul-Fitr will be celebrated next on Oct. 24, 2006. Muslims will celebrate Eid ul-Adha again on Dec. 20, 2006.
