LEWISTON – The Meadowview Tenants Council recently held installation of the new board of directors. Elected were Burt Dutil, president; Bert Morin, vice president; Bob Grandmaison, secretary; Richard Cusson, treasurer; Jeannine Croft, Arthur Raymond and Claudette Lemay, trustees.
The installation was held at the Meadowview recreation hall on Jan. 1. A lunch and beverages were served after the event. Participating was T.J. Sargent as the installing officer, and the escorts were Lorraine Fillion and Joe Jalbert.
Dutil spoke about some of the changes as well as some of the events that they hope to have during the new year. Two committee persons were named: Rose Mary Thompson in charge of Thursday night bingo and Arthur Raymond in charge of the kitchen. Others will be named at a later date.
Those responsible to pass out flyers and meal tickets are Yvonne Camera, Georgette Gangue, Jeannine Croft and Richard Cusson.
The meetings will be held at 11 a.m. the second Monday of every month.
