AUBURN – Robin Dow Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25, at the American Legion Hall, 426 Washington St. Bingo will be played after a bag lunch, and tickets for the valentine party on Wednesday, Feb. 8, will be on sale.
Dues for 2006 must be paid in order to attend. There will be the attendance, pot of gold and raffle table drawings.
At the last meeting, Jan. 11 there were 59 members present. Officers were installed by installing officer Lucy Cowles as follows: board of directors, Irving Grant, Lucien Marcoux and Ralph Lashua; president, Merry Strout; vice president, Doris Michael; treasurer, Irving Grant; recording secretary, Caroline Chapman; correspondence secretary, Shirley Hawkins; floral committee, Frances Robitaille; trips Evelyn Sawin; membership chairwoman, Lucy Cowles; and chaplain, Patricia Donohue.
Kathleen Koss and Joan Webb were also elected to the board of directors, but were unable to be present.
Strout presided at the meeting. Attendance prize winners were Shirley Huntley and Margaret Merrill; pot of gold, Nancy Roy, Dorothy Larrabee and Jean Moody. Sawin said a trip is scheduled to Bangor, April 7. More information will be available later.
