AUBURN – The Good Shepherd Food-Bank will host a Souper Bowl Scrapbook Workshop from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4.

The annual Souper Bowl of Caring is a national event that encourages people to raise money for local hunger-relief organizations during the week of the Super Bowl. This year’s game falls on Feb. 5.

In past years, Good Shepherd Food-Bank has benefited from all sorts of events, including church group collections, scrapbook workshops and community dollar donations.

This year, the food bank will again host a Souper Bowl Scrapbook Workshop at the Auburn Distribution Center, 3121 Hotel Road.

Seating is limited to 60 and cost is $30 a person Assorted soups will be provided for lunch. Creative Memories representative Maureen Clavet will be on site for the day.

If a group wants to hold a “Souper Event” or to register for the workshop they should contact JoAn Chartier at 782-3554.

Every dollar raised for Good Shepherd Food-Bank provides $12.50 worth of food to help families statewide.
