BREWER – Christina Mosher lit up the boards with a game-high 20 points as Mt. Blue topped Brewer for a 52-25 victory in girls’ basketball action Tuesday.

Bonnie Silkman added eight points for the Cougars (11-6). Mt. Blue pulled away in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Witches (6-11) 23-14 to capture the win.

Brewer was led by Elizabeth Cote with nine points.

Mt. Ararat 55, Leavitt 38

TOPSHAM – Jess Stahl poured in 16 points to lead Mt. Ararat to a 55-38 decision over Leavitt in a girls’ KVAC matchup Tuesday evening.

Kelsi Eiane added 12 points and 12 steals for the Eagles (10-8), while Elaine Emerson chipped in with 11 points and five assists.

The Hornets (0-17) were led by Stephanie Healy with 15 points.

Brunswick 49, Lewiston 34

BRUNSWICK – Lyndsay Hammond downed 13 points as Brunswick recorded a 49-34 win over Lewiston in girls’ basketball action Tuesday.

Claire Baecher added 11 points for the Dragons. Brunswick went 14-21 from the foul line, while Lewiston went 12-14.

The Devils’ were paced by Danielle Willey with 10 points.

Lincoln Academy 57, Oak Hill 29

DAMARISCOTTA – Nicole Russell tallied 12 points to lead Lincoln to a 57-29 triumph over Oak Hill.

Lincoln (3-15) built a 29-14 lead by halftime.

Cassie Kupfer and Kristen Eaton tallied nine and seven points, respectively, for the Raiders (1-16).

St. Dom’s 30, Old Orchard Beach 23

AUBURN – Abby Gilbert netted nine points to pace St. Dom’s to a 30-23 vicotry over Old Orchard Beach.

The two squads were tied at 14 after the first half, then St. Dom’s went on a 13-7 run in the third to take control of the contest.

Julie Vandermulenn chipped in for the Saints (13-4) with eight points in the low-scoring affair. Old Orchard was paced by Brandi Markgrem with six points, while Shannon Mosley and Kaylee Godan added four apiece.
