BETHEL – Western Mountains Senior College will offer presentations about unique travel experiences on three Sunday afternoons. The series, “Intrepid Trekkers,” refers to those seniors who have traveled in various ways to many different places.

The audience will learn about places they might like to explore and some different ways of traveling. All presentations will be held at 2 p.m. at the West Parish Congregational Church, Garland Chapel, Church Street.

On Feb. 12, Wendy Iseman will take participants to Yorkshire, England, land of dales and moors and home to the PBS series, “All Creatures Great and Small.”

On Feb. 26, participants will visit Switzerland with Dean and Priscilla Walker and Walter and Beth Brough. Besides showing the beauty of the Alps, they will describe what it is like to travel with “Untours,” a travel company that does much of the planning for a leisurely trip.

On March 12, Bonnie Pooley and Mac Davis will describe what it is like to plan and lead canoe trips in Maine’s remote lakes, and they will share some of their adventures.

Programs are free to members of Western Mountain Senior College. Donations will be accepted from nonmembers unless they join at the time of an event. For more information, call J. Cressy at 824-0508.
