WATERFORD – Residents in the Town Farm Road neighborhood were without power Wednesday night as Central Maine Power crews made repairs to downed lines.

A CMP spokeswoman was unsure of the number of homes and businesses without power, but the outage was isolated to an area involving two dozen streets and roads.

It was not known what caused the lines to fall.

A small number of homes were also without power in Bridgton and Harrison.

The spokeswoman said repairs were expected around 10 p.m., roughly an hour after the outage was first reported.
