RANGELEY – Members of the Rangeley American Legion have several activities planned for the next few months.

The group will prepare 16 Valentine’s Day boxes for shut-ins in the community at 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at the American Legion Hall. They will deliver the boxes afterward.

The regular monthly meeting will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 13, at the Legion Hall, located behind A Stone’s Throw on Main Street. Planning for March programs will be the program.

In March the group will prepare for the Legion birthday and the ladies breakfast.

The group will hold the Rangeley Region’s 87th birthday supper on Monday, March 13. A social hour will be held at 5:30 p.m. and a potluck dinner at 6, followed by a silent auction.

The group will serve the “Ladies Breakfast” from 7 to 9 a.m. Wednesday, March 15, at the American Legion Hall. The breakfast is $6 and is an all-you-can-eat for the Auxiliary to raise funds to send a junior to Girls State in June at Husson College. All donations will be accepted.
