FARMINGTON – The Farmington Children’s School has announce a new program called “Wednesday Afternoons of Art.” The program will take place at the school from 1 to 3 p.m.
The program is open to all children ages 4 to 2, but only a limited number of spaces are available. Staff hopes especially to meet the needs of pre-school children, home-schooled children or parents whose children need an enrichment opportunity during Wednesday early release in SAD 9.
The school is a nonprofit, Montessori-inspired school whose mission is to provide joyful learning for children in grades kindergarten to eight and other educationally enriching programs to the local community. The school is located in the new annex to the Old South Church on Main Street.
Call the school at 491-6282 or 645-9773 to sign up. Cost is $10 a session (reduction available for families with more than two children) Dates are Feb. 15, March 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 and April 5.
