AUBURN – The following cases were closed recently in the Androscoggin County Superior Court.

Richard Marshall Jr., 21, probation violation on a Jan. 5, 2004, assault charge, sentenced to 70 days at the county jail and probation partially revoked.

James L. May, 43, Poland, felon possessing a firearm without a permit on Nov. 17, 2001, and unsworn falsification on July 15, 2004, found guilty on both charges, fined $1,000 on first charge; fined $250 on second charge; also charged with failing to have a hunting license on Nov. 17, 2001, fraudulently obtaining a license and failing to have a hunting license on July 22, 2002, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person on Nov. 9, 2002, felon possessing a firearm without a permit and failing to have a hunting license on Nov. 27, 2003, and fraudulently obtaining a license on July 15, 2004, all charges filed with no cost.

Dennis McNamara, 53, Durham, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person on Nov. 19, 2004, found guilty, fined $750.

Jeromy C. Merchant, 25, Livermore Falls, probation violation on the July 6, 2002, burglary, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and felon possessing a firearm without a permit charges, sentenced to four years at the state prison and probation partially revoked for each charge; also charged with protective order from harassment violation on June 7, 2004, and failure to appear after bailed on Sept. 2, 2004, both charges dismissed.

Michael A. Mitchell Jr., theft by unauthorized use of property on Feb. 2, 2005, found guilty, sentenced to 21 months at the state prison with all suspended and one year probation.

Kristy Nadeau, 24, Lewiston, assault on Dec. 3, 2004, found guilty, sentenced to six months at the county jail with all suspended.

James E. Neagle, 48, Wales, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Sept. 21, 2001, and April 30, 2002, both charges dismissed.

Scott A. Packard, 41, Sabattus, probation violation on the June 15, 2004, unlawful possession of a scheduled drug charge, sentenced to six months at the county jail and probation partially revoked.

Alfred T. Palmer, 51, Auburn, unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs and two counts of aggravated furnishing of scheduled drugs on Sept. 21, found guilty on first charge, sentenced to four years at the state prison with all but two years suspended and three years probation; second and third charges dismissed.

Mindy J. Parlin, 20, Randolph, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and operating after habitual offender revocation on Oct. 29, found guilty on both charges, sentenced to 13 days at the county jail on first charge; fined $1,000 on second charge; also charged with burglary, possession or transfer of burglar’s tools and refusing to sign a criminal summons on Oct. 29, all charges dismissed.

Joelie E. Perry, 44, Sabattus, assault on Sept. 3, and violating condition of release on Sept. 28, first charge dismissed; found guilty on second charge, sentenced to 18 months at the state prison with all but 90 days suspended and one year and six months probation.

Scott W. Pinard, 29, Sabattus, habitual motor vehicle offender on Feb. 19, 2005, found guilty, fined $1,000 and sentenced to 14 days at the county jail.

Derek Pleau, 21, Lewiston, probation violation on the April 2, 2003, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, sentenced to nine months at the county jail and probation partially revoked.

Joseph Proulx, 39, Lewiston, unlawful possession of a scheduled drug and two counts of assault on Jan. 8, 2005, found guilty on all charges, sentenced to 27 days at the county jail on first charge; sentenced to 364 days at the county jail with all but 27 days suspended and one year probation for each on second and third charges; also charged with aggravated criminal trespass and two counts of assault on Jan. 8, 2005, all charges dismissed.

Eric M. Racicot, 33, Lewiston, assault on Feb. 4, 2004, and disorderly conduct and assault on an officer on Dec. 14, 2004, found guilty on first and second charges, sentenced to 10 days at the county jail for each charge; third charge dismissed.

Ralph S. Read, unsworn falsification on July 26, 2002, and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person on Nov. 30, 2002, found guilty on both charges, fined $250 on first charge; fined $1,000 on second charge; also charged with fraudulently obtaining a license on July 26, 2002, failing to have a hunting license on Nov. 30, 2002, unsworn falsification and fraudulently obtaining a license on July 13, 2003, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and failing to have a hunting license on Nov. 26, 2003, unworn falsification and fraudulently obtaining a license on July 10, 2004, and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person on Oct. 25, 2004, all charges filed with no cost.

Miriam Reilly, 23, Durham, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on July 3, 2002, and Dec. 16, 2002, found guilty on both charges, sentenced to seven days at the county jail and probation partially revoked and continued for each charge; also charged with theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Jan. 5, 2005, found guilty, sentenced to 18 months at the state prison with all suspended and one year and six months probation.

Kenneth Rideout Jr., 36, Lewiston, carrying a concealed weapon and attaching false plates on March 22, 2005, both charges dismissed.

Jonathan Rivera, 26, Lewiston, unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs and violating condition of release on July 1, both charges dismissed.

Mark A. Roark, 21, Turner, eluding an officer and failing to register a vehicle on Sept. 11, 2004, both charges dismissed.

Sharon F. Robbins, 41, Lewiston, habitual motor vehicle offender on Sept. 25, 2004, found guilty, fined $1,000 and sentenced to 20 days at the county jail.

Linda Roberts-Lowe Clair, 49, South Paris, forgery on Aug. 16, 2004, found guilty, sentenced to three years at the state prison and one year probation.

Albert Robertson, 36, Auburn, probation violation on a July 11, 2001, unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs charge, sentenced to 15 months at the state prison and probation partially revoked.

Sandra L. Roy, 39, Auburn, operating under the influence and failing to make an oral or written accident report on Feb. 2, 2005, found guilty on first charge, fined $500 and license suspended 90 days; second charge dismissed.

Bonnie L. Sarmiento, 45, Caribou, two counts of negotiating a worthless instrument on Nov. 27, 2004, found guilty on both charges, sentenced to two years at the county jail with all but 15 days suspended, one year probation and ordered to pay $783.38 restitution on first charge; sentenced to 15 days at the county jail on second charge.

Gerald Scott Sturtevant, 42, Jay, operating after habitual offender revocation on Jan. 28, 2005, found guilty, fined $1,000 and sentenced to 45 days at the county jail.

Sylvia Jennifer Dorothy, 25, Lewiston, disorderly conduct and two counts of assault on Feb. 8, 2005, found guilty on all charges, sentenced to 10 days at the county jail for each charge; also charged with two counts of assault on Feb. 8, 2005, both charges dismissed.

Fladenais J. Tayetto, 41, Jay, operating under the influence on Oct. 23, 2004, found guilty, fined $500, sentenced to 72 hours at the county jail and license suspended 90 days.

Brandon Thongsavanh, 23, Lewiston, murder on March 3, 2002, found guilty, sentenced to 58 years at the state prison.

Bruce Townsend, 27, Portland, probation violation on the Aug. 31, 2001, and Sept. 15, 2001, sexual abuse of a minor charges, sentenced to nine months and one day at the state prison and probation partially revoked and continued.

Kenneth A. Tyler, 60, Litchfield, operating under the influence with two priors on July 26, 2004, found guilty, fined $1,200, sentenced to 30 days at the county jail, license suspended four years and registration suspended.

Barry G. Valcourt, 28, Durham, probation violation on the May 30, 2003 burglary of a motor vehicle charge, sentenced to 30 days at the county jail and probation partially revoked and continued.

George Washington, 37, Lewiston, probation violation on the Oct. 7, 1997, Oct. 17, 1997, and Oct. 27, 1997, unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs charges and the Dec. 4, 1997, aggravated trafficking or furnishing in scheduled drugs charge, sentenced to 80 days at the county jail and probation partially revoked and continued for each charge.

Donald White, 26, North Turner, probation violation on the Sept. 3, 2002, sexual abuse of a minor charge, sentenced to 51 days at the county jail and probation partially revoked and continued.

Sarah J. Wilson, 23, Litchfield, unlawful possession of a scheduled drug on Dec. 8, 2004, filed, fined $100.

Scott B. Wilson, 37, Livermore Falls, unlawful sexual contact and visual sexual aggression against a child on Oct. 23, 2004, both charges dismissed.

Shawna Wilson, 28, Poland, probation violation on the Sept. 7, 2000, unlawfully furnishing scheduled drugs charge, sentenced to two years at the state prison and probation revoked.

Peter Jon Woods, 37, Minot, operating after habitual offender revocation on Feb. 8, found guilty, fined $300 and sentenced to 20 days at the county jail.

Joel W. Worden, 26, Lewiston, operating after habitual offender revocation on Jan. 2, 2005, found guilty, fined $1,000.

Malik Younger, 25, Brooklyn, N.Y., two counts of unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs on June 24, 2004, both charges dismissed.
