BETHEL – Kents Hill withstood a late flurry to hold on for a 46-45 victory over Gould in their regular-season girls’ basketball finale Friday night.

Kents Hill (12-2) trailed 34-30 entering the final quarter, but soared ahead to lead by four points with a minute to play.

Aleigh Mills led the winners with 15 points and 12 rebounds. Jane Pavalkis sparked the defense with six steals, while Jackie Gershman-Manocchi had four steals.

Heather Kelleher and Carley Rudd led Gould (10-7) with 18 and 17 points.
