CONWAY, N.H. (AP) – A high school basketball coach has been suspended for the rest of the season after players reported him for telling a joke about the Holocaust.
Brian Day, head boys basketball coach at Kennett High School, is on administrative leave, school officials confirmed Tuesday. He has been coaching for 22 years.
Day told the joke during halftime at a game two weeks ago, according to The Conway Daily Sun. Some players reported it to their parents, who told school administrators.
