Society talk

WOODSTOCK – At the February meeting of the Woodstock Historical Society, Paul and Vicki Billings described their Caribbean honeymoon.

They said their ship carried 1,200 passengers, and there was a huge auditorium and a sit-down dinner or all-day buffet. Features included entertainment, a miniature golf course and an exercise room.

They stopped at Jamaica Grand Cayman and Mexico and saw a turtle farm, a plantation and Mayan ruins.

During the business meeting, Ruth Cox gave a research report on delivery trucks years ago. The Billings gave a prize for the mystery package. President Olive Risko and Mary Billings supplied refreshments.
