WHAT HAPPENED: A newspaper probe uncovered errors in the resume of RadioShack Corp. CEO David Edmondson. The company’s board initially backed Edmondson, but later said it would investigate the developments after he admitted errors on his resume about his education.

WHAT FOLLOWED: On Monday, Edmondson stepped down as CEO, a position he held only since last May, ending an 11-year tenure with the consumer electronics company.

WHAT’S NEXT: Chief Operating Officer Claire Babrowski will serve as acting CEO while the company conducts a nationwide search. She is also a candidate for the post.
