AUBURN – Robin Dow Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, at the Alden M. Gayton Post 31, American Legion, 426 Washington St. There will be the usual raffle table, and bingo will be played after lunch.

President Merry Strout conducted the meeting when the group met Feb. 8 with 70 members present. Lorielie Clark was welcomed as a new member.

Chairwoman Evelyn Sawin reported she is taking reservations for a trip to Bangor on April 7 with dinner at the Weathervane in Brewer. For entertainment, following dinner, there will be a choice of attending the flower show or Hollywood Slots in Bangor. Price of $48 includes transportation and dinner. Reservations may be made at Robin Dow meetings, or phone Sawin at 998-4577.

On Wednesday, April 12, there will be an Easter dinner, price $7, with Lucien Marcoux as head chef, at the Legion Post. Tickets will be sold at the March 8 and 22 meetings, or call Irving Grant at 782-3661.

Following a valentine luncheon served and prepared by Irving and Charlotte Grant, Harry Dixon was chosen as valentine king and Hope Telow as queen. They were crowned by former king Philip Cyr and former queen Patricia Donohue and were presented gifts.

February birthdays were observed. Attendance prize winners were Lorraine Marcous and Anita Plourde; pot of gold, Virginia Houston, Merry Strout and Virginia Trafford. Following the meeting and lunch, bingo was played.
