LEWISTON – The following cases were closed recently in 8th District Court.

Matthew G. Turgeon, 27, Durham, hunting with firearms without hunter orange on Oct. 29, fined $100 by default.

Michael J. Turner, 31, Fall River, Mass., unlawful possession of oxycodone on Nov. 9, transferred to Superior Court.

Gard S. Twitchell, 52, Turner, failure to submit report on Feb. 28, offense committed, fined $100.

Kyle R. Tyburski, 21, Lewiston, operating under the influence on July 2, found guilty, fined $500, sentenced to four days and license suspended 90 days.

Marcus A. Valencia, 23, Jay, operating under the influence on Dec. 31, 2004, found guilty, fined $500 and license suspended 90 days.

Jennifer K. Vanderwerf, 54, Durham, attaching false plates on Nov. 18, found guilty, fined $100.

Clarence A. Vandeymark, 32, Lewiston, operating under the influence on Sept. 10, sent to jury trial.

Albertito C. Velez, 32, Lewiston, operating under the influence and operating without a license on Dec. 24, found guilty on first charge, fined $600, sentenced to 96 hours and license suspended 90 days; second charge dismissed.

Graham F. Veysey, 23, East Hampton, N.Y., operating under the influence on Sept. 25, sent to jury trial.

Amanda Vincent, 28, Sabattus, burglary of a motor vehicle on July 23 and two counts of burglary of a motor vehicle on July 18, all charges transferred to Superior Court.

Tracie Jean Vye, 32, Lewiston, operating while license suspended or revoked and failing to register a vehicle on Sept. 29, found guilty on both charges, fined $500 on first charge; fined $75 on second charge.

Carrie J. Walker, 31, Livermore Falls, assault on Oct. 13, filed with no cost.

Amanda L. Wallace, 26, Raymond, burglary of a motor vehicle, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and three counts of unlawful possession of a scheduled drug on Oct. 13, 2004, found guilty on all charges, fined $200 for each on first and second charges; fined $100 for each on third, fourth and fifth charges.

Samuel L. Warner, 34, Auburn, disorderly conduct on May 28, found guilty, fined $75.

Stephen Joseph Warren, 26, Lewiston, criminal mischief on June 11, found guilty, sentenced to 24 hours and ordered to pay $80 restitution.

Whitney Baldwin Warren, 21, Lewiston, allowing a minor to possess or consume liquor on Sept. 3, sent to jury trial.

Brefney A. Way, 27, Farmington, operating while license suspended or revoked on Oct. 24, found guilty, fined $250.

Charles Webster, 34, Auburn, operating after registration suspended on July 12, dismissed.

Deborah West, 41, Lewiston, unlawful possession of a scheduled drug on Nov. 13, fined $400.

Brian White, 19, Rangeley, possession of marijuana on Oct. 1, offense committed, fined $350.

Travis R. White, 35, Livermore Falls, assault on July 13, found guilty, sentenced to 180 days with all suspended and two years probation.

Troy D. Whitney, 22, Auburn, terrorizing on Dec. 3, transferred to Superior Court.

Kevin K. Williams, 34, Poland, furnishing liquor to a minor on Oct. 10, found guilty, fined $300.

Frances M. Wood, 20, Lewiston, possession of marijuana on March 19, offense committed, fined $200.

Brian A. Woodbury, 25, Sabattus, unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs, unlawful possession of a scheduled drug, violating condition of release and criminal forfeiture of property on Sept. 23, all charges sent to jury trial.

Robert B. Wood, 46, Lewiston, operating while license suspended or revoked on Aug. 9, found guilty, fined $250.

John S. Works, 22, Lewiston, disorderly conduct on July 29, found guilty, fined $75.

Michael A. Young, 42, Lewiston, habitual motor vehicle offender and attaching false plates on Feb. 17, 2005, found guilty on both charges, sentenced to 24 hours for each charge.

Michael Zemla, 37, Lisbon, violating condition of release and operating while license suspended or revoked on Sept. 7, found guilty on both charges, sentenced to two days on first charge; fined $250 on second charge.

Daniel Zinninger, 25, Greene, criminal mischief on Sept. 22, found guilty, fined $75 and ordered to pay $305.27.
