MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – Adam Dann had a hand in all three scores with a goal and an assist as Bowdoin advanced to the NESCAC championship with a 3-1 victory over Trinity in men’s hockey Friday.
Dann set up a pair of second-period goals by Jon Landry, including the game-winner on a power play at 14:12. Dann added an empty-net goal in the third. George Papachristopoulos turned aside 30 shots to anchor the win between the pipes for the Polar Bears (17-6-3), who will face host Middlebury tonight at 7 p.m.
Ryan Masucci netted the lone goal of the game for the Bantams. Henry Breslin had 18 saves for Trinity (13-10-3).
